Welcome to Bad Decisions Dept.
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bad Decisions Dept. These Terms explain the rules that apply when you visit our website, use our services or purchase products from us.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Bad Decisions Dept. is an independent UK online retailer operated by a sole trader.

If you need help with an order, please contact us using the details provided on our website.

Measurements and dimensions are approximate unless stated otherwise.
Products may be supplied directly by one of our fulfilment partners. This does not affect your consumer rights or our responsibility to you as the retailer.
Products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed without notice.
All goods supplied must meet the standards required by UK consumer law, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose where applicable. �

4. PLACING AN ORDER
When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.
After receiving your order, we will send confirmation electronically. A contract between you and us is formed when your order is accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
a product is unavailable;
there has been an obvious pricing or listing error;
payment cannot be authorised;
we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse; or
we cannot deliver the order to the address provided.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount due.
Please check your order and delivery information carefully before submitting it.
5. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in GBP unless stated otherwise.
The price payable is the price shown at checkout when your order is placed, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We may change our prices, discounts and promotions at any time, but changes will not retrospectively affect an order already accepted by us.
Payment is processed through the payment methods available at checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.
6. DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
From time to time we may offer promotional codes, sales or special offers.
Unless stated otherwise:
promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
promotional codes cannot normally be combined;
discounts apply only during the stated promotional period; and
promotions may be withdrawn or amended where reasonably necessary.
Any specific promotional terms displayed with an offer will also apply.
7. DELIVERY
We currently deliver to the locations shown as available at checkout.
Estimated processing and delivery times are provided in our Shipping Policy and/or at checkout.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Occasionally delays may occur because of circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed, UK consumer rules generally require goods to be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days. �

Some orders may arrive in more than one parcel, particularly where products are supplied by different fulfilment partners.
Where we arrange delivery, responsibility for the goods generally remains with us until they come into the physical possession of you or a person you have identified to receive them. �

8. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and your statutory consumer rights.
For most goods purchased online, UK consumers have the right to tell the retailer that they wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, followed by a further 14 days in which to return them. Certain products and circumstances are excluded from this right. �

Where the cancellation right applies, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable UK consumer law and our Refund Policy.
This cancellation right is separate from your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet your statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits those statutory rights.
9. MULTIPLE SUPPLIERS AND FULFILMENT PARTNERS
Some products sold by Bad Decisions Dept. may be stored, packed and dispatched by third-party suppliers or fulfilment partners on our behalf.
As a result:
products within the same order may arrive separately;
different parcels may use different couriers;
tracking information may be provided separately; and
delivery times may vary between items.
Your purchase remains with Bad Decisions Dept., and using a fulfilment partner does not remove the consumer rights you have against us as the retailer.
10. PRODUCT SAFETY AND USE
Products should be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions, warnings or manufacturer guidance supplied.
For cosmetics, beauty products, fragrances and similar products, customers should review ingredient information and warnings where relevant before use.
Stop using a product and seek appropriate advice if you experience an unexpected adverse reaction.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available where a product is faulty or unsafe.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the branding, original graphics, written content, website design elements and other original materials created for Bad Decisions Dept. belong to us or are used with permission.
Third-party product names, photographs, trademarks and branding remain the property of their respective owners.
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our original content without permission, except where permitted by law.

Our store is hosted by Shopify.
Shopify provides the ecommerce technology used to operate the website, but products purchased from our store are sold by Bad Decisions Dept., not Shopify.

14. PRIVACY
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
This includes information necessary to process orders, take payments, arrange delivery, provide customer service and operate our website.
Some information may also be processed by service providers such as Shopify, payment providers and fulfilment partners where necessary to provide these services.

15. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe another person's rights or contain unlawful material.
Where you submit content for publication or promotional use, you grant us permission to display and reproduce that content for purposes connected with operating and promoting Bad Decisions Dept.
We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.
16. ERRORS AND AVAILABILITY

The version displayed on our website will be the current version.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under an existing order.
